Personal Project - 2022
During the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns of 2020, I dedicated a lot of time to learning about digital art, and teaching myself how to create illustrations. At first, I did this using merely my laptop’s trackpad and Photoshop. Thereafter, I got a tablet that could connect to my laptop. This collection of digital illustrations is one of the first things that I created back then.
“She’s a Rainbow” or the “Girl Series” consists of a handful of illustrations showcasing a woman with different patterns, backgrounds, and themes. The idea started with one drawing, and I had enough fun with it to fall into a bit of a rabbit hole of creating more and more.
This collection is a bit quirkier, and inspired kind by a psychedelic aesthetic. As it’s a personal project, it wasn’t created with the intention of commercial use. However, it remains one of my favorite projects that I did in my free time.
